PEI CF (carbon fiber reinforced PEI resins) is an advanced material composed of a polyetherimide (PEI) matrix and carbon fiber. PEI itself has excellent high-temperature resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical stability. When combined with carbon fiber, the performance of this composite material is greatly enhanced. It has higher strength and rigidity while maintaining good heat resistance and dimensional stability. 

And PEI-CF60 is further developed on the basis of PEI CF. The “60” in it usually represents a relatively high content ratio of carbon fiber, which may reach 60%. Compared with ordinary PEI CF, PEI CF 60 has more excellent mechanical properties. Due to the increase in carbon fiber content, its strength, rigidity, and heat resistance are significantly improved. In some application scenarios with extremely demanding material performance, such as high-end aerospace components and high-performance racing car parts, CF60-PEI shows great advantages.

What does PEI CF 60 Feature?

PEI CF60 (carbon fiber reinforced polyetherimide, and the carbon fiber content may be 60%). The main characteristics are as follows:
1. Excellent mechanical properties:
– High strength. After being reinforced by carbon fiber, it can withstand high stress and load, and is suitable for high-strength structural parts. Products: high-performance mechanical transmission parts, aerospace structural parts.
– High rigidity. It is not easy to deform under stress and maintains dimensional stability and shape accuracy. Products: precision instrument casings, high-end sports equipment parts.
2. Outstanding heat resistance:
